Dr. Mohammad Mahbube Mustafa is the designated Project Director for the landmark government development project: "Establishment of Jamalpur Medical College & Hospital and Jamalpur Nursing College (2nd Revised)" implemented under the Health Services Division (HSD), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.

Under his administrative oversight and technical direction, the Project Directorate is executing the high-standard physical construction, specialized electro-mechanical works, and state-of-the-art biomedical installations for the 500-bed hospital complex alongside the academic, administrative, and residential infrastructures of Jamalpur Nursing College.

With comprehensive governance, Dr. Mustafa ensures strict compliance with public procurement guidelines (PPR), stringent quality assurance in structural engineering, and synchronized inter-agency collaboration between the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Public Works Department (PWD), and the Ministry.

His proactive supervision ensures that every operational facility—including modular operation theaters, intensive care complexes (ICU/CCU), central medical gas pipeline systems (MGPS), advanced diagnostic suites, and student residential hostels—adheres to international healthcare building standards.

The completion and full commissioning of the project directly fulfills the clinical needs of Jamalpur, Sherpur, Kurigram, and neighboring riverine districts. It bridges the critical divide in tertiary medical services, dramatically easing the patient burden on Dhaka and Mymensingh medical institutions.

Simultaneously, the establishment of the dedicated Jamalpur Nursing College campus will develop graduates in modern nursing disciplines, providing a skilled clinical nursing workforce that reinforces both regional healthcare delivery and the national healthcare ecosystem.
